Okay so just to add a little more on the 2/7/2025 set that i did, i feel like i should add a little more detail on how it went. essentially how it happened was i got home from school on the prior thursday, and i was chatting back and forth with pseudosodomyyy, where i was asked if i would be down to play a spot at a last minute rave/show the next night (friday), I said sure but i had to ask my parents, summing it up, it was a back and forth between me and my mom and dad with the eventual outcome being i can go but i had to be chaperoned. that friday i woke up at 5am due to not being able to sleep, spending an hour or so searching for new tracks and figuring out new transitions, though ultimatly i decided on redoing my previous set for the open decks as it was ultra-short notice. I went to school, tried to make plans with friends to come over afterwords though it fell through because one of my friends felt rlly bad and sick so he went home, and the other friend couldnt get a ride back home. so i walked home on my own, ate some food, showered, and then i went upstairs to practice for about an hour. then i packed my laptop and deck (im too inexperienced to use the provided decks they had lol) and i headed out with my dad for the venue. When we got to the atlanta underground (with a super fun 40$ parking fee ;-;), we walked past the venue, as we had gotten there too early (9:45 if i recall), and headed to dolo's pizza for a quick bite to eat. i metup with some of my friends (i forgot to mention the event was 18+ so not everyone who i wanted to come could come), and we headed to the venue. The place was Enigma ATL, a super super cool venue with like 7 projectors focused on the walls, all playing cyber-esq trippy graphics that i think were also beat matched!the first dj, svyless, was playing some cool house and techno-esq tracks that set the vibe for the night, and it got me a little intimidated, though the attendance was mostly vacant at that point, due to the event just starting. I walked arround to meet the other djs, meeting who i believe was x.nte, who had a really cool gorillaz themed laptop. eventually after me and my friends being the only ones dancing it was time for me to go on. after some slight technical difficulties with the sound system and my laptop (which im p sure is why the stupid audi didnt work on my fucking recording for the SECOND TIME!!!!) i was off. In all honesty, i dont remember a whole lot from my set, cus i was VERY locked in and anxious. I know that trying to work in Bounce (a track i had produced and my friend who attended did vocals on) didnt pan out how i wanted it to, some transitions were a little wack, the more time went on the more people came, and that the end of the set was the best. After the set, i packed my things up, thanked pseudosodomyyy, and watched her set start, then dipped out to go home. overall i had a great time, and would love to go to another event like this again, though i would like to stay for the full time instead of leaving at 12.
